A Behavioral Health professional will provide a phone screening, and either a referral to the community for appropriate services, or referral to a screening clinic at one of the outpatient clinics in Chico, Oroville, Paradise, or Gridley for either mental health or substance abuse treatment. 

• Interpreter services are available for non-English speaking clients, including clinicians and counselors fluent in Spanish, interpreters in non-threshold languages, ATT Language Line Services and TDDY Services for the hearing impaired. 

• Referrals and information are provided to services in other areas of the department and to other services in Butte County.
